UPDATE FROM THE PRODUCER

We are pleased to announce that as of November 18, 2005, KARLA is complete and Quantum Entertainment is now in the process of lining up subdistributors in countries around the world.  This is a process that will continue for a number of months.  The following represent the first group of foreign subdistributors:

These distributors will determine their release pattern in consultation with Quantum, and we will update the website with information as it becomes available.

CANADIAN DISTRIBUTION
As most of you know, the situation in Canada regarding the film is quite sensitive.  We recently were successful in obtaining an agreement with the families of the victims whereby they will not oppose the release of the film in Canada.  Beyond, that, we are only able to say at this point that we are actively engaged in discussions which we believe will lead to a release of the film in Canada in early 2006.  When we have more to announce on this, we will. 

US DISTRIBUTION
As many who are familiar with our company know, we release our own films theatrically in the United States on a limited national release basis, and carry out our own DVD releasing and foreign sales as well.  Occasionally, for a high-profile theatrical film (and Karla is in this category), we consider partnering with a major studio distributor if terms can be arranged that are advantageous to all parties.  Karla is currently being considered by several US Studios and discussions are ongoing.
